Nigel Strudwick – I missed seeing him so much after he retired. Such a great talent and a nice bloke.

Graham Pirt – I spent a lot of time with him after he retired. His brilliance never waned, although I never understood how much he enjoyed watching Heartbeat!!

Mau Osborne – He was THE megastar of Norfolk

Jonathan Unna – I’ve just come out of seeing war horse at theatre Royal Nottingham and I couldn’t help thinking of Sid Kipper’s words: “He charged like a plough horse with a plough horse’s knack. 40 leagues onwards and 40 leagues back.” Greatly missed.

Keith Ball – Used to love Keith Skipper on Radio Norfolk when we lived there and we saw the Kippers live several times. Happy days. RIP Sid & Henry.

Alexander McGeoch – The time he had us all singing “he’s Norfolk and good” – the missis never cottoned on 🙂

Ernie Howard – I was at school, youth club, and college with Chris. He was a really funny, lovely bloke. We still sent Christmas cards and whenever Sid or the Kippers came to East Yorkshire I always went to see him. Such talent. I miss him.

Tricia Davies – Not a day goes by without a whiff of Sid Kipper in our house, he will always be played and missed.
